Very nice hotel with a wonderful money-value ratio

Bristol is in the heart of Opatija - directly across the street from the beaches and in the heart of the shopping district. Good breakfast (included) and nice room service.

You may hear street noise, and you may hear your neighbors. But the location can't be beat!

Very friendly staff. Great location. Nice rooms & bathrooms. Pretty good breakfast, too. We were upgraded to a bigger room for free since we were traveling with our 2 yr old son. I would stay again!

The rooms were pretty hot, and we were there in October. Air just didn't work right.

Excellent recent refurbishment, excellent staff, great location. Decor is charming, luxurious and tasteful. Superb sea view from room. Great breakfast. Staff was very professional, helpful, plentiful and friendly. Value for the money was the best we had in Croatia. We enjoyed everything about our stay.

We had excellent buffet breakfasts and dinners. The Wellness centre is very relaxing if a litle noisy, for a designated quiet area, from talkative guests. The staff are wonderful. Lovely park across the road.

The staff were courteous, the rooms gorgeous, the breakfast good, the view outstanding, and the stay generally great.

Parking was a minor pain in the backside - difficult to arrange, but this is a general problem in Opatija.

This hotel has been refurbished, is in a great location and we had an absolutely wonderful stay from the time of check-in, where we were greeted with friendly and efficient service until our departure. Our room had lovely sea views with balconies (we received an upgrade to a suite), was spotlessly clean, spacious and very tastefully furnished with an extremely comfortable king bed. The air-conditioning also worked very well and free wi-fi was provided. The buffet breakfast was first class with enormous variety and excellent quality. The wellness centre within the hotel is also highly recommended. Have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this hotel as nothing could be faulted.

Location decor room cleanliness

Dirty walls in the lobby. Breakfast food quality was fair - large spread with lots of variety does not make up for lousy quality. Would prefer fewer options with better quality. For example, the sausages were greasy and poor quality.

One of my best hotel experiences ever. Very comfortable, quiet and with an excellent breakfast.

I liked the design and the furniture. The staff was helpful and professional. The position is excellent. Breakfast was excellent too, in a beautiful hall.

The telephone in the room didn't work. We also found one cockroach in the room. The wifi connection is not free of charge and works very poorly on the upper floors.

Close to the center of the city and the beach

Very difficult to park a big car in the city since there are lots of one way and narrow streets.

Nice place, not that noisy, good insulation. Our air-conditioning was not functionning, we had to wait to get it fixed but did not want to, a junior suite was offered with no additional charge.

Staff not helpfull, tiny parking, food just adequate for the price.
